I picked three beautiful eggplant today which means eggplant parmesan tomorrow night. It would be tonight but we're headed down for a bbq at my brother- in- laws tonight. Should be a great time. :o)
This morning's message was great. I love it when a pastor isn't afraid to teach difficult verses in scripture. Like 1 Cor 14:34-35
Well done.
And even more exciting, we have our first meeting with our EF (educational facilitator from the Charter school tomorrow morning and we'll get all of our curriculum for the year! Woot woot! It's like Christmas when the boys open their boxes and get to see all the fun stuff we get to "play with" all year.
After that, we are having some friends from church over to play and stay for lunch. Should be a fun day!

In very sad news, a very sweet friend of mine confided that they've miscarried a second time yesterday while trying for their first child. Please keep them in your prayers. Thanks.

Lazy day with a friend

Today was pretty chill. Got up early (for us anyway) and got to cleanin'. Then after lunch we all got ready and my friend Jayme and her two sweet boys came over to play. The kids all ran around and played monsters vs. Spiderman and had a great time together. And Jayme and I just hung out and talked. It was wonderful and relaxing. Then after they left, I made my Bestie, Delane's, recipe for chicken with peppers and it was fantastic, of course. And now the treasures are in bed and I'm here typing away. This tiny little paragraph adequately sums up our day. It was simple and sweet. Good night all!

Playdate

We had a great time this afternoon with my Bestie, Delane, and my new "real life" friend, Jayme (talked to her online for more than 3 years before meeting her two months ago) and all of their sweet kiddos. We Mamas had a great time relaxing and chatting while the kids ran amuck through my house and turned the playroom on it's ear in a surprisingly short amount of time. I don't have all the photos, because I'm terrible about remembering to tae photos. But my girl, Delane, is a pro and took a bazillion photos. Sledding and Cocoa

An annual tradition for our family. With the first snow falling on Mt. Laguna we just had to run up there and take advantage. We stopped in Julian, of course, and enjoyed the best they have to offer at The Julian Cafe. Then while driving up the mountain we watched the graceful snow falling all around us. It was impossible not to be taken aback by God's beautiful creation. Alone on the road, it seemed like it was just for us. Once at the top of the mountain there were, of course, many other sledders enjoying the snow. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to sled, so I was the photographer while all of my boys and Tyler and Hallie went crazy. We hope you all enjoy the photos and have an amazingly MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
